As
a REALTOR®, representing over 9,000 members
statewide, one of the most important steps you
can take to improving your business is to participate
in the Hawai'i Association of REALTORS® Annual
Legislative Day Program.
Legislative Day is one of the most rewarding and
recognizable experiences for its participants,
who spent the day delivering and talking to 6
state legislators about HAR’s
2006 State Legislative Program. The purpose
of this event is to advance the Hawai'i Association
of REALTORS® Legislative Program and to help
facilitate the relationship between the REALTOR®
organization and elected officials. While contact
from HAR's Legislative committee alone plays a
crucial role at the Legislature, the most effective
visits involve face-to-face communication from
actual constituents.
Thank you to all the REALTORS® who participated
in the event and for making Legislative Day a
success. Our next Legislative Day is scheduled
for January 2007; but until then, please feel
free to view the photos below from the 2006 Legislative
Day event.
